About the Artwork

Created just days before Jade Rivera's wedding, Nosotros is an intimate reflection on the unfolding nature of love.

The two figures stand together, surrounded by a bouquet in full bloom. Though they do not yet know every part of one another, they already recognize a shared presence—a quiet certainty that invites them forward.

As time passes, the flowers begin to wither, their petals slowly falling away until only bare branches remain. What endures is not the perfection of the bouquet, but the willingness to keep looking into each other's eyes with honesty, tenderness, and devotion.

Nosotros is a reminder that love is not found in permanence, but in the choice to grow, transform, and remain together through every season.
